Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of light vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex automotive problems.
- Provide accurate cost estimates and repair timelines to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions with professionalism and expertise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive service technician program preferred.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a light vehicle mechanic, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed repairs.
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and reaching.
