Dewatering Pump Operator, We are seeking a diligent and skilled Dewatering Pump Operator to join our team at Confidential. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining dewatering pumps and associated equipment to ensure effective water removal from construction sites, mines, and other areas requiring drainage. Your expertise will contribute to the safe and efficient execution of projects by managing groundwater levels and preventing flooding.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor dewatering pumps and systems to ensure efficient water removal.
- Inspect, maintain, and perform routine repairs on pumps, hoses, and other dewatering equipment.
- Set up and dismantle dewatering systems at various job sites.
- Monitor water levels and adjust pump operations as necessary to maintain desired groundwater conditions.
- Keep accurate records of pump operations, maintenance activities, and water levels.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and engineers to plan and execute dewatering operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during all dewatering activities.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly to prevent site flooding and equipment damage.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and advancements in dewatering technology.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dewatering Pump Operator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of dewatering pumps, systems, and related equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on dewatering equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Relevant certification or training in dewatering operations is preferred.
