Diesel Mechanic
Diesel Mechanic, Confidential is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This role requires a thorough understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical issues in diesel engines, transmissions, and other components.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks, buses, and heavy machinery.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, brakes, fuel systems, and exhaust systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess engine performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed in accordance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work performed.
- Collaborate with other mechanics, technicians, and service managers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and repair techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification or degree in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and repair software.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
