Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and assist them with locating products, answering inquiries, and providing product recommendations.
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the checkout counter, including scanning items, handling cash and card transactions, and issuing receipts.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, neatly arranged, and properly labeled with accurate price tags and promotional signage.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish merchandise, and rotate products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Keep the store clean and organized, including sweeping floors, dusting shelves, and cleaning counters, to create a pleasant shopping environment for customers.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking for damaged or expired goods, and storing items in designated areas.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food products and adherence to sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in conducting regular stock checks, identifying slow-moving items, and recommending promotional strategies to increase sales and reduce inventory shrinkage.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve sales targets, resolve customer complaints or issues, and ensure smooth operation of the store.
- Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance product knowledge, customer service skills, and job performance.
Requirements:
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet customer needs and store objectives.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
- Singaporean citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit.
