Job Description:
As a Land Surveyor at Chye Joo Construction Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate measurement and mapping of land and construction sites for our projects. Working closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, analyzing data, and providing essential information to support the planning and execution of construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting Surveys: You will perform various types of surveys, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction surveys, using advanced surveying equipment and techniques. This may involve measuring distances, angles, and elevations, and using GPS and other technology to collect precise data.
- Analyzing Data: You will analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, drawings, and maps to document survey findings and provide accurate information to project teams. This includes interpreting survey data to identify potential issues or constraints and collaborating with engineers and architects to address them effectively.
- Setting Out: You will be responsible for setting out reference points, lines, and grades on construction sites to guide the placement of structures, roads, and utilities. This requires precision and accuracy to ensure that construction activities are carried out according to design specifications and plans.
- Monitoring Progress: You will monitor construction progress and verify that work is being carried out in accordance with survey plans and specifications. This may involve conducting periodic site inspections, reviewing as-built drawings, and providing guidance to construction teams to ensure compliance with survey requirements.
- Ensuring Compliance: You will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing land surveying and construction activities. This includes adhering to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and land use restrictions to minimize risks and ensure the integrity of survey data and construction projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments, software, and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Singapore Land Surveyors Board (LSB) certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Singapore work permit or eligibility to work in Singapore for foreigners.
