Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and other tax-related documents in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business objectives.
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Provide financial reports and analysis to management to support decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or other professional accounting certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the retail or beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates.
