Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections, to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Repair and replace defective parts and components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
- Conduct engine tune-ups, alignments, and other mechanical adjustments to improve vehicle performance and efficiency.
- Follow the manufacturer’s specifications and repair procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of repairs.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper operation and alignment.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, and adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentice mechanics and other team members as needed.
- Stay updated on automotive technology, trends, and best practices through training and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Car Mechanic in a professional automotive repair shop or dealership.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Oman.
