Job Description:
As an Accountant at Confidential, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial transactions and records of the company. This role requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience in financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an accountant, preferably in the UAE, and possess a solid knowledge of Indian accounting standards.

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity positions to support financial decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis and support for business operations.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an accountant, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
