As a Commis Chef at Royal Rose Hotel, you will play a vital role in supporting the culinary team by preparing and assisting in the creation of high-quality dishes. Responsibilities:
- Culinary Preparation:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of experienced chefs.
- Follow established recipes and techniques to ensure consistent quality.
- Section Support:
- Collaborate with chefs in different sections of the kitchen to contribute to overall kitchen operations.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure that dishes are prepared to meet the hotel’s culinary standards for taste, presentation, and texture.
- Kitchen Hygiene and Safety:
- Adhere to strict hygiene and food safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Learning and Development:
- Continuously develop your culinary skills and techniques by learning from experienced chefs.
- Inventory Assistance:
- Support in monitoring ingredient stock levels and assisting in maintaining a well-stocked kitchen.
- Menu Execution:
- Assist in executing dishes as per the menu, showcasing your culinary abilities.
- Guest Interaction:
- Interact with guests when needed, addressing their inquiries and providing exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Culinary diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
- Enthusiasm for culinary arts and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Prior experience as a Commis Chef or kitchen apprentice is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality dishes.
