Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in steel fabrication and a strong understanding of welding techniques and metalworking processes. As a Steel Fabricator, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and assembling steel components according to precise specifications and quality standards.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication: Cut, bend, and shape steel components using manual and automated tools and machinery, ensuring all work meets the required specifications and tolerances.
- Welding: Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to assemble steel structures and components.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate and assemble steel components accurately.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and perform routine maintenance on fabrication tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in fabrication processes, working closely with supervisors and engineers to find effective solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including material usage, project progress, and quality control inspections.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other fabricators, welders, and team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding or metal fabrication is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel fabrication or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc) and operation of fabrication tools and machinery (e.g., saws, grinders, drill presses).
- Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of fabrication work.
- Physical Fitness: Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
- Safety Awareness: Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a fabrication environment.
- Communication: Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
