Position Overview:
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Plumbers to join our team. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures to ensure proper functionality and safety. Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, fittings, valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters, according to specifications and building codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements for plumbing systems.
- Inspect plumbing systems and fixtures to identify issues, such as leaks, clogs, and corrosion, and perform repairs or replacements as needed to restore functionality and prevent damage.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and pressure, using pressure gauges and other testing equipment, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure proper performance.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, HVAC technicians, and carpenters, to coordinate installation and repair projects and ensure smooth workflow.
- Respond to service calls and emergencies promptly, and troubleshoot and resolve plumbing problems efficiently to minimize downtime and inconvenience for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and service reports, using computerized maintenance management systems or other tracking tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Plumber in the construction or maintenance industry.
- Valid plumbing license or certification from a recognized authority.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and work in tight spaces.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Qatar.
