Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified and experienced Lifeguards to monitor our aquatic facilities and ensure the safety of our guests. The Lifeguard will be responsible for supervising swimmers, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies in a timely and effective manner. This role requires strong swimming abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Surveillance: Maintain constant surveillance of guests in the water, scanning assigned areas for signs of distress or potential hazards.
- Enforcement: Enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, intervening as needed to prevent unsafe behavior.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, performing water rescues and administering first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspection of lifeguard equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous customer service to guests, answering questions, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive experience.
- Training: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance lifeguard skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Current certification in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer is required.
- Experience: Prior experience as a lifeguard is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to suitable candidates.
- Swimming Abilities: Strong swimming abilities and proficiency in water rescue techniques.
- Physical Fitness: Excellent physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform rescues and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness, with the ability to quickly identify and respond to potential hazards.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
