- Provide guidance, training, and support to housekeeping staff for efficient and effective daily operations.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to brand standards.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and control housekeeping supplies, amenities, and linens to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for the procurement of cleaning materials and amenities.
Guest Interaction:
- Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests related to housekeeping.
- Collaborate with front desk and other departments to meet guest expectations and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Staff Training and Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the housekeeping team.
- Implement and uphold health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate regular reports on housekeeping performance and submit them to the management team.
- Maintain accurate records of room statuses, maintenance requests, and lost and found items.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness standards.
- Familiarity with housekeeping procedures, equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
