Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HDPE Plumber to join our dynamic team. The HDPE Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining high-density polyethylene (HDPE) piping systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of HDPE pipe welding and installation techniques, as well as a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install HDPE piping systems according to project specifications and industry standards, ensuring precise alignment and secure fittings.
- Welding: Perform HDPE pipe welding using butt fusion, electrofusion, and other approved methods, ensuring strong and leak-proof joints.
- Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on HDPE piping systems, identifying and addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Inspection: Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to accurately execute piping installations and repairs.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for HDPE pipe installation and welding.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including job logs, maintenance reports, and inspection documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in HDPE pipe installation and welding.
- Certification: Certification in HDPE welding techniques such as butt fusion and electrofusion is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficient in the use of HDPE welding equipment and tools.
- Strong understanding of piping systems and fluid mechanics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
