Fabricator, Confidential is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal and other material components to create high-quality products. This role is essential in ensuring our production processes meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

Education & Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication:

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape materials using various tools and equipment such as saws, welders, grinders, and drill presses.

Assembly:

• Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products, ensuring all components fit correctly and meet design specifications.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.

Welding and Metalwork:

• Perform welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to join metal parts.
• Execute precise metalworking tasks, including bending, forming, and machining, to achieve desired shapes and dimensions.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Maintain and repair fabrication equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment or fabricated components.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections of work to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
• Document all work performed, including measurements, materials used, and any deviations from specifications.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to fabrication and welding.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements and safety enhancements.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Fabricator or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
• Proven expertise in various fabrication techniques and welding methods.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certification in fabrication, welding, or a related field is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
• Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as fabrication equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
