Chiller Technician

Chiller Technician, Confidential is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chiller Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial chiller systems. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our clients’ HVAC systems, contributing directly to their operational success.

Education & Qualification:

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Commissioning:

• Install new chiller systems, ensuring all components are correctly integrated and functioning.
• Commission chiller units by performing detailed inspections and adjustments to meet operational standards.

Maintenance:

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on various chiller systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect and test system components, such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators, to identify potential issues.
• Replace filters, clean coils, and perform other essential maintenance tasks.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in chiller systems.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide emergency repair services to minimize downtime for clients.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Prepare detailed reports on the condition of chiller systems and recommend necessary actions.

Customer Service:

• Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and proposed solutions.
• Provide expert advice on system upgrades and improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Chiller Technician or in a similar role.
• Proven track record of working with a variety of chiller systems, including centrifugal, screw, and reciprocating chillers.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or degree in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration principles.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
