Job Description:

HOTEL CONFORTO PTE. LTD. is seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join our team in Singapore. As the first point of contact for guests, the receptionist plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience from check-in to check-out.

Education & Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Services: Greet guests upon arrival, check them in and out of the hotel, and provide assistance with luggage handling and directions to rooms and amenities.
  • Reservation Management: Manage hotel reservations, including processing bookings, cancellations, and modifications, and ensuring accuracy of guest information and room assignments.
  • Customer Assistance: Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, and take appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Telephone and Email Communication: Handle incoming calls and emails, answer inquiries, provide information about hotel services and facilities, and assist with reservations and special requests.
  • Cash Handling: Process payments, collect deposits, and manage cash transactions accurately and securely, following hotel procedures and accounting guidelines.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including keeping supplies stocked, updating guest information, and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other hotel staff, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage teams, to coordinate guest services and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification. Additional training or certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates or individuals with relevant customer service experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues.
