Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Meat Preparation: Prepare and cut meat products such as beef, pork, lamb, and poultry, ensuring high-quality cuts and presentation.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection, answering questions, and offering cooking recommendations.
- Display and Merchandising: Maintain attractive meat displays, ensuring products are well-presented and properly labeled.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage meat inventory, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock to maintain freshness.
- Food Safety: Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the highest level of product quality and safety.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain meat processing equipment, including grinders, slicers, and saws, following safety guidelines.
- Knife Skills: Demonstrate precision in using butchering tools and knives for portioning and trimming meat.
- Custom Orders: Fulfill custom meat orders, including special cuts and packaging requests.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
Qualifications:
- Newcomer status in Canada, with legal eligibility to work.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Previous experience in butchery or a related field is appreciated but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of meat cuts and familiarity with different meats is a plus.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and handle heavy cuts of meat.
