Mason, We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our construction team at Confidential in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry, with expertise in laying bricks, stones, and blocks for construction projects. The Mason will be responsible for reading blueprints, mixing mortar, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results on various building projects.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stones according to blueprints and project specifications.
- Mix mortar to the correct consistency for various masonry tasks.
- Build and repair structures such as walls, floors, chimneys, and foundations.
- Cut and shape materials to ensure they fit properly and securely.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform masonry tasks, including trowels, hammers, chisels, and masonry saws.
- Ensure all work is completed according to local building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction workers, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
- Inspect work for accuracy and completeness, making any necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the site supervisor or project manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in masonry techniques, including bricklaying, stone setting, and concrete blockwork.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of building materials, tools, and construction methods.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Must be able to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
